Brunswick sold...

Garage owner Andy Savva has sold his business for an undisclosed sum

Andy Savva opened Brunswick Garage in 2010

"I could not sell the business to a better person, who understands the needs of the business and the attention to detail of customer service." Andy Savva.

Since Brunswick Garage opened in 2010, it has been hailed by industry chiefs, the trade press and customers alike as ab example of best practice in the aftermarket. The workshop, an independent VAG specialist in North London, was conceived around Savva’s belief that garages should be as open to the customer as possible – and that a visit to the garage should be a clean, comfortable and non-threatening experience.

The garage was bought by technician and existing Brunswick employee Nick Germanou along with an anonymous private investor. Germanou has worked with Savva for some 14 years in several garages previously owned by him. Germanou says he is ‘looking forward to continuing the service to customers and maintaining the investment in training and equipment’.

Speaking about the sale, Savva said: “I could not sell the business to a better person, who understands the needs of the business and the attention to detail of customer service. Brunswick Garage has an excellent reputation both within the automotive industry and with its customer database. I am positive Nick and his team will continue this success. I wish the new team all the very best for the future”.

Savva will remain within the automotive industry as a business consultant and will continue to work and speak for a variety of retail and aftermarket organisations.
